17-Band Electronic Control

The DD205 uses DiFalco's 17-band electronic wiper system to provide smooth throttle progression throughout the trigger range.

Compared with a conventional fixed-resistance controller, the electronic design provides consistent response across a broad range of compatible cars while avoiding the need to match controller resistance as closely to each motor.

Simple by Design

The DD205 has no external sensitivity or brake controls. That is intentional.

For a shared controller, simplicity is a major advantage. One driver cannot unknowingly change settings that affect the next driver, and new racers do not need to learn controller setup before they can start racing.

The result is a controller that is easy to hand to a beginner but still provides the smooth trigger feel and precision expected from DiFalco equipment.

Precision Ball-Bearing Trigger

The trigger rides on a precision ball bearing for smooth movement with reduced friction and side play.

This helps provide a consistent trigger feel and reliable wiper contact through repeated use.

Positive Polarity

The DD205 is designed for positive-polarity analog slot car tracks, now common on modern commercial, club, home, and OmniSlotBox installations.

If you're uncertain about your track polarity, message us before ordering and we'll help determine compatibility.

XLR Connector & Other Connection Options

This controller is supplied with our preferred 3-pin XLR connector for a fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped tracks.

DiFalco controllers can also be supplied with other connector types. If you require alligator clips, banana plugs, or another connection, message us before ordering or select the appropriate connector option or have it both ways with one of our adapters.

Handle Colors & Special Orders

Handle color varies according to current inventory. We normally ship an available color so your controller can be supplied without unnecessary delay.

If you want a particular handle color, message us before ordering. A controller can be built specifically for your order by DiFalco Design when the requested color is available. Additional lead time may be required.

Availability

DiFalco controllers are individually hand-built in relatively small quantities. We stock popular models whenever possible, but demand can occasionally exceed available inventory.

If a controller must be built to order, typical lead time may be approximately 3–4 weeks.

Service & Support

DiFalco controllers are designed to be maintained and repaired rather than treated as disposable electronics. Their open construction makes inspection and routine maintenance straightforward, and replacement components are available for many service items.

OmniSlotBox provides assistance with controller selection, compatibility, setup, and basic troubleshooting. Factory service and replacement parts are also available through DiFalco Design when required.
