DiFalco Design DD207 Neo 17-Band Electronic Slot Car Controller
🏁 Affordable Electronic Control for Serious 1/24 Racing
The DiFalco Design DD207 Neo is an excellent value for racers who want smooth electronic throttle control, adjustable sensitivity, and adjustable braking without moving into the price range of a premium 30-band competition controller.
Designed primarily for 1/24 commercial and club racing, the DD207 works especially well with popular sealed and moderate-power motors such as 16D, Hawk, Falcon, CR102, and similar motors.
For racers moving up from a conventional resistor controller, the DD207 provides a substantial improvement in smoothness, consistency, and adjustability while retaining DiFalco's rugged, serviceable construction.

🎯 17-Band Electronic Throttle
The DD207 uses a 17-band electronic throttle to provide smoother and more progressive power delivery than a traditional fixed-resistance controller.
The electronic design also gives the controller a much broader useful range across different motors than a conventional resistor controller that must be closely matched to the car.
🎛️ Adjustable Sensitivity
The sensitivity control lets you change how aggressively the car responds to initial trigger movement.
Increase sensitivity for a softer or lower-powered car, or reduce it when a powerful car needs a more controlled response through corners and technical sections.
🛑 Adjustable Braking
The DD207 adds fully adjustable braking, allowing you to match braking strength to the car, track layout, tire grip, and your own driving style.
Use more braking on tight technical tracks or reduce braking when a car benefits from carrying more speed into and through a corner.
🏎️ Designed for Popular Commercial Motors
The DD207 is particularly well suited to many commonly raced commercial and club motors, including:
- 16D
- Hawk series
- Falcon series
- CR102
- Similar sealed and moderate-power motors
For substantially higher-current motors, consider one of DiFalco's higher-capacity controller models.
🎮 Ball-Bearing Trigger
The precision ball-bearing trigger provides smooth movement and consistent feel while reducing friction and side play.
This helps maintain accurate wiper-button contact and provides a more precise trigger feel during long race sessions.
🛠️ Built to Race—and Be Serviced
DiFalco controllers are designed to be maintained rather than treated as disposable electronics.
The fiberglass frame, heavy-duty wiring, stainless-steel hardware, and open construction make inspection and routine maintenance straightforward. Most service items can be diagnosed and repaired using readily available replacement parts.
🔌 Connector Options
DiFalco controllers can be supplied with the connector of your choice, including XLR, alligator clips, or banana plugs.
For OmniSlotBox and other XLR-equipped tracks, we recommend a 3-pin XLR connector for its fast, secure, and foolproof connection.
If you're unsure which connector your track requires, contact us before ordering and we'll help you choose the correct setup.
🎨 Handle Color & Special Orders
Handle colors vary with current inventory. Orders normally ship in an available color.
If you want a particular handle color, contact us before ordering. We can arrange to have your controller built especially for you by DiFalco Design in the requested color and shipped directly to you. Additional lead time may apply.
📦 Availability
DiFalco controllers are individually hand-built in relatively small quantities. We do our best to keep popular models in stock, but demand may occasionally exceed supply.
When a controller must be built to order, lead times may run approximately 3–4 weeks.
