30-band precision with the versatility to race virtually any 1/32 car plus many popular 1/24 classes.
TheDiFalco Design DD312 Neo Hybridbridges the gap between DiFalco's 1/32 Neo controllers and its more powerful commercial-raceway models. A larger heat sink and10-ohm adjustable brake controlgive it the additional capacity needed for many mild 1/24 applications while retaining the smooth response and wide motor compatibility that make the Neo series so versatile.
With a30-band electronic throttle, adjustable sensitivity, adjustable traction control, interchangeable resistor networks and precision ball-bearing trigger, the DD312 gives serious racers extensive control without unnecessary complexity.
This version is supplied with our preferred3-pin XLR connectorfor fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped analog tracks.

30-Band Electronic Throttle
The DD312 uses DiFalco's precision30-band electronic throttlefor smooth, progressive power delivery throughout the trigger range.
Compared with conventional resistor controllers, the electronic design provides finer throttle resolution and allows the controller to work effectively with a much broader range of motors.
Hybrid 1/32 & 1/24 Performance
The DD312 earns itsHybridname by combining the broad compatibility needed for 1/32 racing with additional power-handling capability for many popular 1/24 applications.
It is designed for virtually all conventional1/32 analog slot car motorsand many mild 1/24 motors, including:
- 16D
- Hawk
- Similar mild commercial-racing motors
The larger heat sink and upgraded braking capability make the DD312 particularly attractive to racers who compete in both 1/32 and mild 1/24 classes and would rather use one familiar controller for both.
10-Ohm Adjustable Braking
The integrated10-ohm brake potentiometerprovides a broad range of braking adjustment.
Braking can be fine-tuned to suit the car, motor, track layout, traction level and driver's preference.
Adjustable Sensitivity
The sensitivity control changes the controller's throttle response, allowing you to adapt the DD312 to different motors, cars and track conditions.
Response can be softened for a powerful or difficult-to-drive car or increased when a more immediate throttle response is desirable.
Adjustable Traction Control
DiFalco'sTraction Controlregulates the amount of power delivered while the trigger is below full throttle.
This can make it easier to apply power when exiting corners without overpowering the tires, particularly with high-powered cars or on lower-grip tracks.
At full trigger position, Traction Control is automatically bypassed so maximum available track power is delivered to the car.
Interchangeable Resistor Networks
The DD312 uses DiFalco's removable resistor-network system. The supplied290-ohm networkis suited to a broad range of 1/32 applications.
Optional resistor networks are available separately, allowing racers to alter the controller's basic response range for different motors, cars and racing classes.
This provides another level of adaptability beyond the controller's external sensitivity and traction-control adjustments.
Precision Ball-Bearing Trigger
The DD312 features DiFalco's precisionball-bearing triggerwith a threaded adjustable pivot pin.
Benefits include:
- Exceptionally smooth trigger movement
- Reduced friction
- Minimal trigger side play
- Consistent wiper-button contact
- Adjustability to maintain precise trigger feel as the controller ages
Professional Construction
DiFalco Neo controllers are built using race-oriented components including:
- Fiberglass controller frame
- Large floating brass power contact
- Heavy-duty wiring
- Stainless-steel hardware
- Nickel-plated circuit board for corrosion resistance
- Large heat sink for increased power handling
Comfortable Handle
The DD312 uses the same basic comfortable handle design found on DiFalco's premium Genesis controllers, providing a familiar grip and good ergonomics during extended racing sessions.
Positive Polarity
The DD312 Neo Hybrid is designed forpositive-polarity analog slot car tracks only.
Positive polarity is now common on modern commercial, club, home and OmniSlotBox installations.
If you're uncertain about your track polarity, message us before ordering and we'll help determine compatibility.
XLR Connector & Other Connection Options
This controller is supplied with our preferred3-pin XLR connectorfor a fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped tracks.
DiFalco controllers can also be supplied with other connector types. If you require alligator clips, banana plugs, or another connection, message us before ordering or select the appropriate connector option. You can also have it both ways with one of our separately available adapters.
Handle Colors & Special Orders
Handle color varies according to current inventory. We normally ship an available color so your controller can be supplied without unnecessary delay.
If you want a particular handle color, message us before ordering. A controller can bebuilt specifically for your order by DiFalco Designwhen the requested color is available. Additional lead time may be required.
Availability
DiFalco controllers are individually hand-built in relatively small quantities. We stock popular models whenever possible, but demand can occasionally exceed available inventory.
If a controller must be built to order, typical lead time may be approximately3–4 weeks.
Easy Maintenance & Serviceable Design
The open-frame design makes routine inspection and cleaning straightforward. DiFalco controllers are designed to be maintained and repaired rather than treated as disposable electronics.
Replacement components are available for many service items, helping make the DD312 a controller that can provide years of racing service.
