Using This Curved Lane Changer with OmniSlotBox

Important for OmniSlotBox Prime, XMR and OSB4 users: Carrera curved lane changers are the only current Carrera track components that normally require a small modification for true analog operation with an OmniSlotBox Digital/Analog switching system.

Some curved lane changers have a factory jumper that electrically connects the two lanes. Carrera Digital uses the lanes as one electrical circuit, but true analog operation requires each lane to remain electrically isolated.

• Check the track with the continuity tester supplied with your OmniSlotBox.
• If continuity is found between the lanes, follow the curved-lane-changer modification in the OmniSlotBox Owner's Manual.
• The modification is quick and requires no soldering, special tools or additional parts.
• After modification, the lane changer continues to operate normally in Carrera Digital mode and the lanes remain properly isolated for OmniSlotBox Analog mode.

Note: Lane-changing itself is a Digital function. In Analog mode, cars remain in their individual lanes.
