Wide-range electronic control with adjustable sensitivity and braking for HO, 1/32 and 1/24 analog racing.
TheProfessor Motor PMTR2111 Club Racer PROis a versatile double-adjustable analog transistor controller designed for home and club racers who want substantially more tuning capability than a basic fixed-response controller without moving into the price range of high-end competition models.
Built in the USA using Professor Motor'sPlatinum Series transistor technology, the Club Racer PRO provides an unusually broad useful operating range from low-powered stock cars through highly modified HO, 1/32 and 1/24 applications.
Adjustable sensitivity and adjustable 25-ohm braking allow the controller to be tailored to different cars, motors, track conditions and driving styles.
This version is supplied with our preferred3-pin XLR connectorfor fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped analog tracks.

Adjustable Sensitivity
The sensitivity control allows you to change how much power the car receives when the throttle is first applied.
Turn the sensitivity down for a softer, easier-to-control response or increase it when a more immediate launch and stronger initial throttle response are desirable.
This makes the Club Racer PRO adaptable to cars with very different motor characteristics without requiring a different controller for each class.
Adjustable Braking
The integrated25-ohm brake potentiometerprovides a broad range of braking adjustment.
Use stronger braking for tight technical layouts or reduce braking for cars and tracks that benefit from more coast into the corners.
Professor Motor recommends returning the brake adjustment to thefull-brake position after racingso the controller's protective circuit can provide maximum protection if the controller is accidentally misconnected during the next use.
A Wider "Sweet Spot" Than Traditional Resistor Controllers
One of the things we particularly like about Professor Motor transistor controllers is theirbroad usable response range.
Traditional resistor controllers, such as the classic Parma Turbo, depend heavily on matching controller resistance to the motor and track voltage. The right resistance can feel excellent, but change the motor or voltage and the same controller may suddenly feeltoo touchy or too sluggish.
The Professor Motor transistor design is much less dependent on that narrow resistance match. As a result, one controller can provide comfortable, progressive throttle control across awider range of motor types and track voltages.
We think of this as having a wider"sweet spot."The Club Racer PRO then adds adjustable sensitivity and braking on top of that already broad operating range, making it particularly useful for racers who run several different classes.
Direct Wired Analog Response
This is awired analog controller, so throttle changes are applied directly through the track's analog power circuit without the command processing or wireless communication required by digital and wireless control systems.
For racers who appreciate immediate, predictable response, this direct connection remains one of the advantages of wired analog racing.
Broad HO, 1/32 & 1/24 Compatibility
Professor Motor designed the PMTR2111 forHO, 1/32 and 1/24 home and club racing, covering applications from low-powered stock cars through highly modified motors.
This unusually broad operating range is one of the strongest reasons to choose the Club Racer PRO. Rather than buying several fixed-resistance controllers for different classes, many racers can use one familiar controller and adjust sensitivity and braking to suit the car.
Fault-Tolerant Protection
The Club Racer PRO incorporates anultra-robust fault-tolerant circuit designintended to help protect the controller from overloads, short circuits and accidental connection errors.
This added protection is valuable for club and home racing where controllers may be used at different tracks or frequently connected and disconnected.
Power & Polarity Indicator
A built-inpilot lightprovides power and polarity indication, giving the driver a quick visual confirmation that the controller is connected to an appropriate track supply.
2-Wire Compatibility
The PMTR2111 can also operate in appropriate2-wire non-brake applications, including some HO and 1/32 track systems.
Brake functionality will depend on the track wiring and connection method being used.
Premium Trigger Contact System
The controller uses alow-friction silver-alloy wiper buttonrunning across an ultra-hard nickel-plated contact surface.
This combination provides smooth trigger action, good conductivity and excellent wear resistance when properly maintained.
Internal Heat Management
The aluminum heat sink is mountedinside the controller handle, where it is protected from accidental damage while helping manage heat generated by the controller electronics.
Professional Construction
The PMTR2111 is built for regular racing use with:
- High-impact molded polycarbonate handle
- Stainless-steel hardware
- Heavy-duty 13-gauge high-temperature silicone leads
- Silver-alloy wiper contact
- Nickel-plated contact surface
- Internal aluminum heat sink
XLR Connector & Other Connection Options
This controller is supplied with our preferred3-pin XLR connectorfor a fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped tracks.
We also offer a separately listed version withtraditional alligator clips.
For maximum versatility, keep the XLR connector and add one of our adapters, allowing the same controller to be used on tracks with different connection systems.
Connector installation services, adapters and controller ID sticker kits are listed separately in this category.
Handle Colors & Controller Identification
Our preferred stock configuration is theclear Professor Motor handle.
When supplied from our normal clear-handle inventory, we include acolor/number controller ID sticker kit. This makes it easy to assign controllers to different lanes, driver stations or ports while keeping the controllers themselves interchangeable.
Professor Motor also offers molded handle colors includingClear, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple and Black, subject to current availability.
There isno additional charge for handle color. If you prefer a specific color, message us when ordering. If it is not in stock, additional lead time may apply.
Optional Power Relay Upgrade
The optionalProfessor Motor PMTR2037 Power Relay Systemcan be added for racers who want a more direct, lower-resistance power path at wide-open throttle.
This upgrade is particularly interesting for higher-performance applications where minimizing controller resistance at full power is desirable.
Care & Maintenance
Like all high-quality trigger controllers, the PMTR2111 benefits from regular cleaning and light lubrication of the sliding contact system.
Keeping the nickel-plated contacts clean and properly lubricated helps maintain smooth trigger action, reliable electrical contact and long controller life. Follow Professor Motor's maintenance instructions for recommended service procedures.
