🔒 Secure & Safe Checkout
High-speed tri-oval banking meets a technical road-course infield in this compact 72.2-foot Carrera track layout.
The Tri-Oval Road Course combines the speed and spectacle of sweeping banked turns with tighter multi-radius corners that reward braking, rhythm and car control.
With a footprint of approximately 17' x 8' , it delivers a surprisingly long and varied lap without requiring the room needed for many full-size club layouts.
Two Different Tracks in One
The outer sections let the cars stretch their legs through fast, sweeping corners, while the infield changes the pace with tighter turns and different radii.
That contrast keeps the driving interesting. Carry too much speed into the technical section and you lose time; concentrate only on the infield and another driver may gain it back on the fast banks.

Designed Around Visibility & Access
The open center is an important part of the design rather than wasted space. It improves marshal access and gives builders room for pit buildings, scenery, landscaping or other trackside details.
Good sightlines also make the circuit easier to learn and much more enjoyable during close racing.

Analog or Digital
The basic track geometry works well for either style of racing.
In analog configuration , the layout provides traditional lane-based racing with conventional analog cars and controllers.
When equipped for Carrera Digital 132/124 , the same general layout can support digital lane changing and up to six driver-controlled cars, depending on the digital components selected.
An OmniSlotBox system can also be incorporated for racers who want Carrera Digital operation and true analog racing on the same track.

Table & Installation
The track can be assembled temporarily on a flat surface, but a permanent or semi-permanent table is strongly recommended.
Rather than building a simple rectangular table, shaping the tabletop around the circuit and preserving the center opening can substantially improve marshal access while reducing unnecessary table area.
Protective perimeter walls are recommended anywhere a car could leave the racing surface. The open center also makes it easy to add a realistic pit area or scenic features.
A Note About the Track Rendering
Track-planning software does not always show the transition between straight sections and banked Carrera track perfectly. The supplied component plan is based on the actual track geometry rather than the appearance of the 3D rendering alone.
Jim's Racer Perspective
I like tracks that make the driver change rhythm during a lap. This one does that particularly well.
The banked sections let you enjoy real speed, but the infield immediately asks for precision and throttle control. That contrast makes the track interesting with a wide variety of cars instead of favoring only one kind of racing.
The open center is equally important. Visibility and marshal access can make the difference between a track that looks good and one that is genuinely enjoyable to race on.
