MR Slotcar MR1503 Chevrolet Corvette C1 #60 – RAC Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars, 2010.

This is one of those cars that looks collectible but is clearly engineered by racers. Beneath the beautifully finished Corvette body is MR Slotcar's aluminum chassis with a separate motor pod, all-aluminum wheels and a floating body mount that lets the chassis work instead of forcing the body to act as a structural brace.

The real #60 was driven by Bernie Chodosh and John Young in the 2010 Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars. MR Slotcar captures the unusual gold-and-red livery while giving the model serious club-racing hardware.
