Bring Frankenslot Wireless Control to Analog Slot Car Racing
The Frankenslot Speedflow Powerbase allows compatible Frankenslot wireless controllers to operate conventional analog slot cars , combining wireless freedom with sophisticated throttle and brake control.
Connect the Powerbase to a compatible positive-polarity analog track or OmniSlotBox true-analog system , bind a compatible Frankenslot wireless controller, and you're ready to race without a controller cable.
For the highest control resolution and fastest communication, Frankenslot recommends its latest-generation Triple Wireless Controller . Earlier compatible Frankenslot wireless controllers using the classic protocol can also be used.

Wireless Analog Control
The Powerbase receives commands from a compatible Frankenslot wireless controller and controls power to a conventional analog slot car. The car requires no decoder or modification .
This gives an analog racer the freedom of a wireless controller while retaining adjustable throttle and braking characteristics normally associated with sophisticated wired analog controllers.
Powerbase Adjustments
Power Max limits maximum throttle output, allowing available power to be reduced to approximately 50% without changing the track power-supply voltage. This can be useful for taming a fast car, matching cars for racing, or making powerful cars easier for less-experienced drivers to control.
Power Min fine-tunes the initial power delivered as the trigger begins to move, helping you achieve a smooth transition from stopped to moving.
Bite changes the car's behavior when throttle is released. Lower Bite provides a freer, more coasting response, while higher Bite produces a more immediate PWM-style response.
Adjustable Braking
With a compatible latest-generation controller, braking can be adjusted electronically from free rolling through progressively stronger braking .
The controller's brake potentiometer is active in analog operation, allowing braking characteristics to be matched to the car, track, and driver's preference.
Controller Compatibility
The Powerbase supports both Frankenslot wireless communication protocols.
High-Speed Protocol: Used by compatible latest-generation Frankenslot controllers such as the Triple Wireless Controller. Frankenslot specifies approximately 2 ms communication timing with finer speed control.
Classic Protocol: Supports compatible earlier Frankenslot wireless controllers, including selected Eco Wave and thumb-controller models. These remain usable with the Powerbase but operate with the earlier communication protocol.
Programmable Switch Functions
The Powerbase provides programmable functions for compatible controller buttons, including Coast, Soft Brake, and Full Brake Override . Functions can be selected through the Powerbase menu and retained after setup.
XLR – Configured for U.S. Slot Car Wiring
Frankenslot equipment is manufactured in Germany, where controller wire colors differ from the convention commonly used on U.S. positive-polarity slot car tracks.
Our XLR-equipped Powerbase is configured to the standard slot car XLR convention:
Pin 1 – Black – Track / Motor Pin 2 – White – Positive Power Pin 3 – Red – Brake / Negative
This corresponds to the original Frankenslot wiring as follows:
Frankenslot Black → U.S. Black → XLR Pin 1 Frankenslot Red → U.S. White → XLR Pin 2 Frankenslot White → U.S. Red → XLR Pin 3
Always verify track polarity and wiring before connecting electronic controllers.
Excellent for OmniSlotBox
The Speedflow Powerbase is particularly interesting for OmniSlotBox Prime, XMR, and OmniSlotBox 4 owners because it brings wireless controller operation to the true-analog side of an OmniSlotBox-equipped Carrera track.
That means you can race conventional unchipped analog cars wirelessly while retaining the broad car compatibility and adjustable analog power that make the true-analog OmniSlotBox systems so versatile.
Important: The Powerbase is an analog controller interface. It is different from the Frankenslot Speedflow Wireless controller used directly with Carrera Digital/Wireless+ systems.

Jim's Racer Perspective
Wireless controllers make particular sense on larger tracks because driver position no longer has to be dictated by the location of a controller jack. The Speedflow Powerbase brings that advantage to true analog racing while retaining the tuning controls serious racers expect.
We can also help with compatibility, XLR wiring, Powerbase setup, and integrating the system with an OmniSlotBox installation.
