TheCarrera 30348 Speed Controller Extension Setexpands a compatible Carrera DIGITAL 132/124 system from four tosix wired controller positions.

It's an easy plug-and-play upgrade for larger home tracks, clubs, and race groups where you want a full six-driver grid without rotating drivers between races.

The Carrera 30348 is also compatible with appropriateOmniSlotBox systems using a modified Carrera Control Unit.

Expand from Four to Six Wired Controllers

The Carrera Control Unit provides connections for up tofour wired controllers.

Add the 30348 Controller Extension Set and two additional controllers can be connected, providing dedicated positions fordrivers 5 and 6.

DIGITAL 132 and DIGITAL 124

Carrera DIGITAL 132supports up tosix cars simultaneously, so the 30348 allows all six drivers to race together using wired controllers.

Carrera DIGITAL 124is normally specified for up to four cars when using the standard Carrera power supply because of the greater power requirements of the larger 1/24-scale cars.

With an appropriateOmniSlotBox upgraded power supply and power harness, additional power capacity can supportup to six DIGITAL 124 cars, allowing a full six-driver wired installation.

Important Wireless Compatibility Note

The Carrera 30348 is intended for expandingwired controller connections.

It should not be used simultaneously with the Carrera WIRELESS+ receiver.

If you're building a wireless or mixed wired/wireless system, the controller configuration and available driver positions are different. Contact us if you're unsure which combination of controllers, receivers, and extensions is appropriate for your track.

OmniSlotBox Compatibility

The Carrera 30348 can be used with compatible OmniSlotBox installations that retain theCarrera Control Unit controller system.

It's particularly useful with largerOmniSlotBox Emulatorinstallations. Because the Emulator uses Carrera-compatible digital controllers to operate both Carrera Digital cars and unchipped analog cars, the additional controller positions can be used in either racing mode.

Controller Choices

The additional driver positions can be used with compatible wired Carrera Digital controllers, including theCarrera 30340, as well as compatible aftermarket wired digital controllers designed for the Carrera system.

This makes the 30348 a simple way to build a complete six-driver wired system without replacing the controllers you already own.
