8-Foot Controller Cable – Give the Drivers Some Room

Standard digital controller leads can force drivers to stand too close together, particularly on four- and six-driver Carrera layouts.

Our8-foot digital cablegives drivers considerably more freedom to spread out around the track and choose a comfortable driving position with good visibility.

It's particularly useful for:

• Large home layouts

• Four- and six-driver installations

Independent Controller Power

The SCP201d requires operating power for its sophisticated controller electronics. In a conventional installation, that power is supplied through the digital racing system.

Our EXTENDED version adds adedicated external power connection and power supply, so the controller electronics have their own power source rather than adding that demand to the Carrera Control Unit.

This becomes particularly useful on larger digital installations using several sophisticated controllers and other powered accessories.

Advanced SCP Driver Controls

The SCP201d provides considerably more adjustment than a standard Carrera hand controller, allowing the driver to tailor controller response to different cars, track conditions, and driving styles.

Adjustable functions include:

• Throttle response
• Minimum speed
• Maximum speed
• Adjustable braking
• Thumb-operated brake control
• Anti-spin control
• Selectable power curves
• Slow / Standard / Fast response modes

These controls allow one controller to be adjusted for cars with dramatically different power and handling characteristics rather than requiring the driver to adapt to one fixed throttle response.

Precision Non-Contact Trigger

The SCP uses anon-contact trigger systemrather than a conventional resistor or mechanical wiper contact board.

This provides smooth trigger movement and precise electronic control while eliminating the normal contact-board wear associated with traditional controller designs.

The system provides128-step throttle resolutionfor fine digital control.

Modular SCP System

One of the major advantages of the Slot.it SCP platform is itsmodular cartridge design.

This package includes theUniversal Digital Cartridgeconfigured for the Carrera Digital application described here. Other SCP cartridges and modules can provide compatibility with additional racing systems and analog applications.

Developed From Our Own Racing Experience

We developed this configuration after using SCP controllers ourselves formulti-driver Carrera Digital racing.

The SCP201d provides exceptional adjustability, but we wanted more distance between drivers and didn't want several sophisticated controllers drawing their operating power from the Carrera Control Unit.

Rather than simply accepting those limitations, we modified the installation to solve them. TheCustom EXTENDED Versiongives each driver more freedom to choose a good driving position while providing dedicated power for the controller electronics.
