Go Wireless with Carrera DIGITAL 132/124
The Carrera 10120 WIRELESS 2.0 Duo Set gives two drivers wireless control of Carrera DIGITAL 132 and DIGITAL 124 cars and includes the WIRELESS 2.0 receiver required to connect the controllers to your Carrera system.
Using Carrera's 2.4 GHz WIRELESS 2.0 technology , drivers can move freely around the layout without controller cables limiting their position—particularly useful on larger home tracks, club layouts, and multi-driver race tracks.
The system is also compatible with the OmniSlotBox Emulator , allowing the same wireless controllers to be used with Carrera Digital cars and unchipped analog cars when the Emulator is switched to analog mode.

WIRELESS 2.0 and WIRELESS+ Are Different Systems
Carrera WIRELESS 2.0 and the earlier WIRELESS+ system use different controllers and receivers. They are not directly interchangeable .
- WIRELESS 2.0 controllers → Carrera 10122 WIRELESS 2.0 Receiver
- WIRELESS+ controllers → Carrera 10112 WIRELESS+ Receiver
If you already own WIRELESS+ equipment, you don't necessarily have to retire it. The two receiver systems can be connected to the same Carrera Digital system, allowing WIRELESS+ and WIRELESS 2.0 equipment to coexist.
Controller/car addresses must remain unique when combining systems so that two controllers are not assigned to the same address.
OmniSlotBox Emulator Compatible
The WIRELESS 2.0 system is an especially useful companion to the OmniSlotBox Emulator because the Emulator uses Carrera-compatible digital controllers in both operating modes.
Digital Mode: Use the WIRELESS 2.0 controllers normally with Carrera Digital cars.
Emulator Analog Mode: The Emulator places the car-decoding electronics trackside, allowing compatible unchipped analog cars to be controlled using Carrera-compatible digital controllers—including WIRELESS 2.0.
That means you can keep the same wireless controller in your hand when switching the Emulator between Carrera Digital and Emulator analog racing.
Why Wireless Makes Sense on a Multi-Driver Track
Wireless controllers become particularly useful when several drivers are racing simultaneously. Without controller cables determining where everyone must stand, drivers can spread out around the layout and choose positions with better visibility.
- Better track visibility
- More elbow room between drivers
- Cleaner driver stations
- Easier movement around larger layouts
- More comfortable club and event racing
Compatibility
Designed for:
- Carrera DIGITAL 132
- Carrera DIGITAL 124
- Carrera Control Unit systems
- OmniSlotBox Emulator
- Compatible Carrera Digital installations using the WIRELESS 2.0 receiver
Note: WIRELESS 2.0 is a Carrera Digital controller system. It is compatible with the OmniSlotBox Emulator because the Emulator uses Carrera-compatible digital controllers to operate analog cars. It is not an analog controller for the true-analog modes of OmniSlotBox Prime, XMR, or OmniSlotBox 4.
An Easy Wireless Upgrade
The Carrera 10120 Duo Set is a convenient way to add WIRELESS 2.0 to a Carrera Digital system because everything needed for two wireless drivers is included except the batteries.
It's also an excellent starting point for expanding a larger multi-driver wireless installation by adding additional compatible WIRELESS 2.0 controllers.
Jim's Racer Perspective
On a larger track, wireless isn't just about getting rid of a cord. It lets drivers stand where they can actually see the track instead of wherever the controller cable happens to reach. With several drivers racing at once, that can make the whole setup more comfortable and enjoyable.
Two controllers. One receiver. No controller cords. Let's race!
