MOSFET PWM Throttle Control
The MT II usesPulse Width Modulation (PWM)rather than controlling motor speed by simply dissipating excess power through a conventional resistor.
PWM rapidly switches power to the motor and varies the duration of those pulses as you move the trigger. This provides excellent low-speed torque, smooth acceleration, efficient operation, and consistent throttle response.
Because the system isn't relying on a large resistance element to regulate speed, considerably less energy is wasted as heat.
V.10 Contact Board & Response Control
The suppliedV.10 Contact Boarduses a 36-step wiper element with nine-point stainless-steel wipers for smooth, progressive trigger response.
The board supports several configurable operating modes. The MT II is supplied in its standardCurve mode, providing a negative curve adjustment with linear response at the fully clockwise position of the center control.
This gives the racer considerable control over how trigger movement translates into car response without making normal race-day adjustment unnecessarily complicated.
Adjustable Braking & Power Coasting
The MT II provides adjustable electronic braking plus TruSpeed'sPower Coastingfeature.
Some cars slow dramatically as soon as the throttle is released, even with little or no conventional braking. Power Coasting can help reduce this effect, allowing the car to roll more naturally into a corner.
Together with the adjustable brake control, this gives you considerably more control over corner entry than a simple fixed-brake controller.
Acceleration & Sensitivity Control
Adjustable sensitivity allows you to tailor initial throttle response to the motor and track, while acceleration control helps manage how quickly power builds as you pull the trigger.
These adjustments are particularly useful when moving between cars with dramatically different power characteristics or when track traction changes during a race meeting.
Adjustable Trigger Feel
Trigger return spring tension can be adjusted to suit your preference, and the controller includes bothsingle-finger and double-finger triggers.
The interchangeable trigger system allows you to choose the configuration that feels most natural without replacing the controller.
Choose Your Connector
The MT II is supplied without a track connector.
This lets you choose the connection that actually matches your track rather than paying for a connector you don't need. We stock and offer professional installation ofXLR connectors, OmniSlotBox copper alligator clips, and 24K gold-plated banana plugs.
For anOmniSlotBoxinstallation, we recommend XLR for its fast, secure, foolproof connection. Simply add the appropriate connector-installation service to your order and we'll install it before shipping the controller.

Who Is the MT II For?
The MT II is a strong choice for racers who want more current capacity and tuning capability than an entry-level electronic controller while retaining controls that are understandable and quick to adjust at the track.
Its combination of PWM throttle control, acceleration adjustment, sophisticated braking, sensitivity control, and substantial current capacity makes it particularly well suited to racers who use a wide range of cars rather than building their controller around one narrow motor class.
High-current capability, sophisticated control, and adjustments you can actually use while racing.
