Vintage 1/24 Cox Chaparral Slot Car – Beautiful Original with Upgrades & Box 60 Years Later… Still Racing Strong This is a stunning example of the iconic Cox Chaparral — an original, unmodified 1/24 scale slot car from the golden era of slot racing. Amazingly, it still runs great on modern analog tracks like our Carrera Digital / OmniSlotBox setup, and looks nearly as fresh as the day it left the factory.

Exceptional Vintage Condition Appears unused — no visible signs of track wear Complete with original chassis, body, wheels, axles, and magnesium parts No corrosion on magnesium components — rare for a car of this age Factory roll bar and mirror intact Includes original Cox assembly instruction sheet

Period Tire Upgrades for Better Grip Rear tires upgraded to vintage Riggen foam for track performance Original Cox rear tires included — dry but ideal for display Tires cleaned and bushings lubricated — no repainting or restoration This car has been lightly prepped for safe operation, but remains fully original — just as Cox designed it over half a century ago.

Track-Tested or Display-Ready Whether you’re a vintage collector or want to relive the thrill of classic slot racing, this Chaparral is fast, smooth, and incredibly responsive. It’s a rare gem that performs as good as it looks.

Minor Notes A few surface impressions from being stored in contact with controller wires Otherwise near-pristine condition — a standout example
