Carrera Evolution Audi R8R #8 – Audi Sport Team Joest, 1999 Le Mans – 1/32
Discontinued Carrera Evolution #25418 recreating the silver-and-black Audi R8R #8 driven by Frank Biela, Emanuele Pirro and Didier Theys at the 1999 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the team finished third overall.
This is an exceptionally clean example of a sought-after early Audi prototype. The car shows no visible signs of wear or use and retains the highly detailed Audi Sport Team Joest livery, driver figure, cockpit, silver multi-spoke wheels, Shell and Michelin sponsorship, and distinctive Audi rear wing.
Upgraded Rear Silicone Tires
The rear tires have been upgraded to silicone tires for improved grip and consistent running on suitable slot-car track surfaces. Because of this tire upgrade, the car is not represented as completely factory-original.
