These wide rear wheels combine lightweight full-width aluminum hubs with high-grip foam tires. They are designed specifically for JK Direct Drive applications, where the motor drives the axle directly without conventional pinion-and-spur gearing.

Designed for JK Direct Drive Cars

These wheels are intended for JK Direct Drive setups using the standard 2mm axle. The wide foam tire provides a large contact patch for strong mechanical grip without relying on traction magnets.

Direct-drive cars eliminate the conventional pinion and spur gear interface, so rear wheel condition, tire preparation and axle fit are especially important to smooth and consistent performance.

Foam tires are a major part of what makes the JK Direct Drive cars work so well. The wide contact patch provides excellent mechanical grip, while the lightweight aluminum hubs help keep rotating weight low.

For best results, keep the tires round, clean and properly prepared for your track surface. On our Carrera track, a light application of suitable track traction treatment produces very consistent performance.
