128-Step Contactless Trigger

The SCP2 uses acontactless trigger-position systemrather than dragging a mechanical wiper across a resistor or contact board.

The result is exceptionally light, smooth trigger movement with precise electronic control. Because there is no conventional throttle contact surface, normal wiper and contact-board wear is eliminated.

The128-step resolutionprovides fine throttle progression, giving the driver excellent control when feeding power into a car through technical sections.

20A High-Amperage Cartridge Included

This controller includes Slot.it'smetal high-amperage positive-polarity analog cartridge, rated for approximately20 amps continuous and 40 amps peak.

That substantial current capability allows the SCP2 to handle an unusually broad range of analog cars and motors, from typical home-racing equipment to considerably more demanding competition cars.

Instead of buying different controllers for different motor ranges, you can adjust the SCP2 to suit what you're racing.

Tune the Controller to the Car

The SCP2 provides extensive control over how the car responds to your trigger movement.

Adjustminimum speed, maximum speed, braking, anti-spin, and power curveto suit the motor, gearing, tires, track conditions, and your own driving style.

A powerful car can be softened to make it easier to drive consistently. A milder car can be given a more aggressive response. Maximum power can also be reduced for beginners, car break-in, or particularly technical tracks.

XLR Equipped

This controller is supplied with anXLR connectorfor a fast, secure connection to compatible OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped positive-polarity analog tracks.

Our standard slot car XLR wiring convention is:

Pin 1 – Black
Pin 2 – White
Pin 3 – Red

Adapters for tracks using alligator clips or banana connections are available separately.

An Excellent Match for OmniSlotBox

The SCP2 is particularly well suited toOmniSlotBox Prime, XMR, and OmniSlotBox 4systems operating in true analog mode.

OmniSlotBox allows a Carrera track to run an enormous variety of analog cars. The SCP2 complements that versatility because it can be adjusted for cars with dramatically different power and handling characteristics.

From a mild vintage car to considerably more powerful competition equipment, you can keep the same familiar controller in your hand and adjust it to suit the car.

Modular & Expandable

The SCP2 is built around Slot.it's modular cartridge system. This package is configured forhigh-current positive-polarity analog racing, but additional modules can expand the SCP platform's capabilities.

Real-World Proven

One of the most technically knowledgeable racers at our club—an electrical engineer who owned six high-end controllers—was skeptical of the SCP2 until he tried one.

After only a few laps, he was abouttwo-tenths of a second faster. He bought one that day. Within a couple of months, nearly every serious racer in our group had switched to the SCP.
