Motor Testing & Break-In
The SC-5068 provides dedicated positions for testing common short- and long-can slot car motors, including popular F-type configurations.
Motors can be run independently of the car for initial testing, comparison, troubleshooting, or controlled break-in.
Test Complete Slot Cars
The tester can also run a complete slot car while it remains stationary on your workbench. This lets you observe the motor, gears, axle, wheels, and complete drivetrain without needing to put the car on a track.

Setup Tip for Narrow Cars
Some cars with a narrow rear track may have tires that contact the tester base before the chassis is properly supported.
A small rubber pad, Blu Tack, or similar non-damaging spacer placed beneath the chassis can raise the car slightly so the rear wheels rotate freely during testing.

The tester can operate from a standard9V batteryfor convenient portable use or from a suitable external power supply using the included connection harness.
