This true analog race car uses a direct-drive motor/axle arrangement with no conventional pinion or spur gear. The result is a very smooth, quiet drivetrain with minimal gear maintenance.

Track & Power

Designed for true analog operation on routed wood tracks, Carrera Evolution/analog layouts, and OmniSlotBox systems operating in analog mode. The full-size guide may require trimming for some Carrera layouts and is generally too deep for standard Scalextric track without modification.

For serious racing, use a regulated power supply with approximately 3 amps or more available per lane. Foam tires perform best on a clean, properly prepared racing surface.

Jim's Racer Perspective

On our 60-foot Grand Prix Carrera layout, these Direct Drive cars have run more than a second per lap faster than the standard Carrera cars we use for comparison. They require a different driving style from the Cheetah anglewinders: smooth inputs, early braking, and carrying momentum are especially important.
