Why Racers Value This Version

The original Parma 516 was a longtime favorite among racers, builders and commercial raceways because of its simple, rigid construction and precise mechanical action.

It is designed to pull press-fit gears from motor shafts while reducing the risk of bending the shaft or damaging the gear compared with improvised removal methods.

This was the gear puller we used at my own slot car raceway, and it remains my personal favorite.

I prefer this original Parma design to the later black single-handle Parma/Champion-style version. The older tool feels more precise and controlled in use and has proven extremely durable over many years of raceway service.
