Compatibility

Designed for early motors such as Pittman, Kemtron, Ram, and other 3/32" shaft motors.

Not compatible with modern Mabuchi-style motors using 2mm (.078") shafts.

Tech Note from Jim These pinions are a close sliding fit on 3/32" shafts. Best practice is to secure them using solder, epoxy, or Loctite. Unlike press-on gears (which risk damaging motors or require special tools to remove), these only need a bit of heat to install or remove. Just like real race cars, soldered gears are always more reliable.
