Add More Wired Drivers

The standard Carrera Control Unit provides connections forup to four wired controllers.

Forfive- or six-driver wired racing, add theCarrera 30348 Speed Controller Extension Set, which expands a compatible installation to support up to six wired controllers.

Carrera DIGITAL 132supports up to six cars simultaneously.

Carrera DIGITAL 124is normally specified for up to four cars when using the standard Carrera power supply because of the greater power requirements of the larger 1/24-scale cars.

With an appropriateOmniSlotBox upgraded power supply and power harness, additional power capacity can supportup to six DIGITAL 124 carsfor larger multi-driver installations.

Excellent for the OmniSlotBox Emulator

The Carrera 30340 is particularly useful with theOmniSlotBox Emulatorbecause the same controller can remain in your hand when you switch between Digital and Emulator analog operation.

Digital Mode:Use the controller normally with Carrera Digital cars, including throttle, lane changing, and compatible Carrera Digital functions.

Emulator Analog Mode:The Emulator's trackside lane decoder interprets the Carrera controller signal and controls power to anunchipped analog car.

This lets you switch between digital and analog carswithout changing controllers.

Wired or Wireless?

Wireless controllers provide more freedom around a large layout, but a wired controller still has some very practical advantages:

TheCarrera 30348 Controller Extension Setis intended for expanding wired-controller installations and should not be used simultaneously with the Carrera WIRELESS+ receiver.
