17-Band Electronic Throttle
The DD207 uses a precision17-band electronic throttleto provide smooth power progression throughout the trigger range.
Compared with a traditional fixed-resistance controller, its electronic design provides considerably greater flexibility for different motors, cars, and racing conditions.
Adjustable Sensitivity
The sensitivity rheostat lets you change the controller's throttle response to suit different motors, track conditions, traction levels, and driving styles.
A softer setting can make an aggressive car easier to control, while a more responsive setting can sharpen the feel of a milder car.
Adjustable Braking
The DD207 addsadjustable braking, an important distinction from the DD206.
Brake strength can be reduced or increased to suit the car, tire grip, track layout, and driver's preference.
Precision Ball-Bearing Trigger
The trigger rides on precision ball bearings for smooth movement, reduced friction, and consistent trigger feel. The bearing system also helps minimize side play and maintain reliable wiper contact through extended use.
Recommended Applications
- 1/24 commercial and club racing
- Hawk motors
- Falcon motors
- CR102 motors
- 16D motors
- Similar sealed and moderate-power racing motors
- Racers upgrading from resistor controllers
DD206 or DD207?
Both controllers use DiFalco's 17-band electronic throttle and adjustable sensitivity. The important difference isadjustable braking. If you want control over both throttle sensitivity and braking strength, the DD207 is the better choice.
Positive Polarity
The DD207 is designed forpositive-polarity analog slot car tracks, now common on modern commercial, club, home, and OmniSlotBox installations.
If you're uncertain about your track polarity, message us before ordering and we'll help determine compatibility.
XLR Connector & Other Connection Options
This controller is supplied with our preferred3-pin XLR connectorfor a fast, secure connection to OmniSlotBox systems and other XLR-equipped tracks.
DiFalco controllers can also be supplied with other connector types. If you require alligator clips, banana plugs, or another connection, message us before ordering or select the appropriate connector option or have it both ways with one of our adapters.
Handle Colors & Special Orders
Handle color varies according to current inventory. We normally ship an available color so your controller can be supplied without unnecessary delay.
If you want a particular handle color, message us before ordering. A controller can bebuilt specifically for your order by DiFalco Designwhen the requested color is available. Additional lead time may be required.
Availability
DiFalco controllers are individually hand-built in relatively small quantities. We stock popular models whenever possible, but demand can occasionally exceed available inventory.
If a controller must be built to order, typical lead time may be approximately3–4 weeks.
