Replacement Contact Board for Compatible TruSpeed Controllers

The TruSpeed Contact Board 10 is a replacement trigger contact board for compatible TruSpeed analog and older digital controllers.

It features a nickel/gold-plated contact surface with stainless-steel wiper fingers for smooth, durable operation. New wiper fingers are included with the board.

The Contact 10 design also makes routine cleaning easier by allowing access to the contact segments through the handle ventilation openings without completely disassembling the controller.

Configurable Trigger Response

The Contact 10 board can be configured for several different trigger-response modes using its solder-link positions and component values.

Compatible controllers are normally manufactured with a standard mode appropriate for the controller model, but the board can be reconfigured later if the controller supports alternate modes.

The blue preset potentiometer VR1 , located near the end of the contact segments, adjusts how strongly the selected mode influences trigger response.

Not every TruSpeed controller supports every mode. Verify compatibility before changing board configuration.

Mode Configuration

The board uses shorting-link locations labeled A, B, C, 1, 2, and 3 . Different combinations of links and component values determine the available trigger-response mode.

Take care when soldering the link points, particularly A and B. Accidental bridging between adjacent pads can prevent correct operation or damage the board.

Easy Contact Cleaning

One practical advantage of the Contact 10 design is easier maintenance.

To clean the contact segments, apply a small amount of appropriate contact-cleaning fluid to a cotton swab and carefully pass it through the ventilation openings in the controller handle.

This allows the contact surface to be cleaned without opening the handle for routine maintenance.

This board is intended for compatible TruSpeed controllers that use the Contact 10 board .

Because TruSpeed has produced several controller generations and not all models support the same modes, please verify your controller model before ordering.

Why Replace the Contact Board?

If the contact board or wiper fingers in an otherwise serviceable TruSpeed controller are worn or damaged, replacing the board can restore smooth trigger operation without replacing the entire controller.

It's also a useful spare for racers who maintain older TruSpeed equipment and want to keep proven controllers in service.

Replace the wear part, not the whole controller.
