Many famous full-size circuits lose their character when compressed into a slot car layout. Monaco is an exception. Its short straights, tight corners and constantly changing direction translate naturally into an exciting home or club raceway.

This layout captures the recognizable flow of the Monaco Grand Prix while adapting the circuit where necessary for better visibility, marshaling and slot car racing.

Designed for Racing, Not Just Appearance

The goal was not simply to reproduce the outline of Monaco. The layout has been adapted so it works as a practical slot car raceway.

A subtle change around Casino Corner improves access and allows marshaling from the far side of the layout. This gives racers better sightlines and reduces the need for marshals to reach across the circuit.

The best driver position is along the harbor side of the layout, providing a broad view of the racing surface.

Digital Strategy

With 10 lane-changing opportunities , this is much more than a two-lane track with digital electronics added. Drivers can choose racing lines, plan passes, enter the pit lane and work through traffic throughout the lap.

The combination of a long lap and frequent lane-changing opportunities makes the layout particularly well suited to Carrera Digital racing.
