Wireless Analog Racing

The includedSlot.it wireless receiverallows the SCP-3 to control a conventional analog lane without a controller cable connecting the driver to the track.

This gives you considerably more freedom to choose the best driving position, particularly on large home tracks, club raceways, and layouts where several drivers need room to spread out.

Wireless operation doesn't mean giving up sophisticated control. You retain the SCP platform's extensive throttle, braking, and response adjustments while eliminating the controller cable between you and the driver station.

High-Amperage Analog Cartridge Included

This package includes Slot.it'smetal high-amperage positive-polarity analog cartridge, rated for approximately20 amps continuous and 40 amps peak.

That substantial current capacity makes the controller suitable for an unusually broad range of analog slot cars, from typical 1/32 home-racing equipment to considerably more demanding 1/24 cars and motors.

Instead of maintaining several controllers for different motor ranges, the SCP's extensive adjustments allow one controller to accommodate a remarkably broad selection of cars.

Contactless 128-Step Trigger

The SCP-3 uses acontactless magnetic trigger systemrather than a conventional resistor or mechanical wiper contact.

Trigger position is detected electronically, eliminating the friction and wear associated with a traditional contact board. The result is exceptionally light, smooth trigger action and precise, repeatable control.

The128-step resolutionprovides fine throttle progression, particularly valuable when feeding power into a high-performance car through technical sections of a track.

Tune the Controller to Almost Any Car

The SCP-3 gives the driver extensive control over how the car responds.

Adjustminimum speed, maximum speed, braking, anti-spin, and throttle characteristicsto suit the motor, gearing, tires, track conditions, and your own driving style.

A powerful car can be softened to make it easier to drive, while a milder car can be given a more aggressive response. Maximum speed can also be reduced for beginners, car break-in, testing, or racing formats where limiting performance is useful.

XLR Equipped for OmniSlotBox

This package is supplied with anXLR connectionfor convenient use with compatible OmniSlotBox systems and other positive-polarity analog tracks equipped with the standard slot car XLR connection.

Our standard XLR wiring convention is:

Pin 1 – Black
Pin 2 – White
Pin 3 – Red

XLR provides a fast, secure connection and eliminates the possibility of accidentally connecting individual alligator clips to the wrong terminals.

An Excellent Match for OmniSlotBox

The SCP-3 is particularly well suited toOmniSlotBox Prime, XMR, and OmniSlotBox 4systems operating in true analog mode.

OmniSlotBox opens a Carrera track to an enormous range of analog cars. The SCP-3 complements that versatility by providing the power capacity and adjustability needed to control cars with dramatically different performance characteristics.

Connect the wireless receiver to the XLR-equipped analog driver station and enjoy sophisticated analog control without being tied to the track by a controller cable.

Expandable to Digital Racing

The SCP platform's modular design allows the controller to be adapted for other racing systems by changing or adding the appropriate cartridge or module.

An optionalSlot.it digital cartridgecan expand the SCP platform for compatible digital racing systems.

The digital cartridge is not included with this package.

Rechargeable Controller

The SCP-3 incorporates arechargeable internal batteryto power wireless operation.

This eliminates the need to continually replace disposable batteries and keeps the controller self-contained when racing wirelessly.
